PUCCI ROckS the Minnesota Renaissance Festival!

Last weekend was Pet Day at the Renaissance, and Pucci Pet Career Studios was there to show their styling skills! #creativeGrooming #MNrenFest2015

It took nearly a full week to prepare Poppy (Standard Poodle) for the event. Pucci students assisted Kristina Halloran (Pucci Instructor) in brushing and bathing Poppys long curly coat. They dried and straightened her tight curls, then styled her fluffy layers of fur. When she was color ready Poppy chose red white and blue! A French poodle, Poppy loves to show off her American roots! The PUCCI team of instructor led students first painted the pet friendly color into Poppy's fur and then wrapped up the colored area carefully. An hour later, Poppy was bathed, rinsed and under the blow dryer again!

Penelope (Chinese Crested Powder Puff) also attended Ren Fest 2015. The Pucci team, brushed bathed and styled the tiny pooch into a Lion Trim. PUCCI students assisted in adding Penelope's finishing touches, weaving rainbow bright feathers into her long silky coat. Penelope sat very still, clearly enjoying her beauty treatment as the eager students secured each feather into place.

With both canines in fanciful up-dos, PUCCI students (along with thousands of dogs, cats, birds and exotics) descended upon the Minnesota Ren Fest to enjoy Pet Day. The food, shopping and cast of characters at the festival was (as always) fantastic. Having the opportunity to meet and greet so many pet lovers in one place was a definite bonus.
Poppy and Penelope had a great time. PUCCI  made lots of new friends and Poppy almost had a chance to meet the Queen of England! Well a member of the Queens court suggested they meet, but the Queen Mom was no where to be found, imagine that!
Just another fun filled week of learning followed by a field trip for PUCCI students... Why wouldn't you want to join the fun? Www.pucciCareers.com to learn more about pet stylist certification at PUCCI...
