T-touch

PUCCI students are introduced to T-touch and gentle handling techniques for animals.

In addition to the seminar on T-touch students practice different techniques every morning before they begin their hands on training in PUCCI's real time salon and spa.

Pucci students and staff are pictured above practicing the art of T-touch. Who wouldn't want to be a part of a massage train with a standard poodle in the lead? Although this was not exactly in the "lesson plan" it is a part of the fun environment that is encouraged at PUCCI!

T-touch is integrated in Doga classes offered to PUCCI to students and the local community! Doga classes are yoga classes for humans that you can bring your dog to! There are moments in the class where the instructor introduces T-touch to engage yogis and invite their Dogis into the practice! The certified yoga instructor will also create an environment for adjustments and utilization of t-touch.

There is true benefit from the interaction of human touch both between humans and with our furry companions. Scientific research shows that touch, if utilized properly, can be healing to both humans and animals.

Love Dogs? Consider A Career in Pet Styling

PUCCI Pet Career Studios a private vocational school (121 East Main Street Anoka Minnesota) offers exciting career options for the pet enthusiast. Pucci pet stylist career program focuses on dog (and cat) styling, pet spa and fashion with an emphasis on entrepreneurship.

Graduates of the program are in demand, "our challenge is training enough graduates to fill the need of the pet grooming
industry", says Mary Faith Moore, Director Of Training for Pucci, "jobs are plentiful, a qualified professional pet stylist can chose their career path."

The Three-Tier Career program is designed to be attended in full or part. Each tier provides the student with a set of marketable career skills in the pet industry, from entry level pet bather (Pet Spa Specialist), to all-breed pet stylist (Canine Design Specialist).

The entire career program may be completed in less than six months (full-time attendance). Part-time students are welcomed and receive assistance in designing a class schedule to accommodate.

Pucci students gain real time experience learning canine styling and design techniques while practicing on dog (and cat) breeds provided by the surrounding community.
